Welcome to Beacon's student admission process.

Welcome to Beacon's student admission process.

In our admissions process, we aim to identify families who share our values and are committed to contributing to the school community, as well as candidates whose profiles align with our academic requirements. Our student body includes both Brazilian and international students.

We welcome new students in a thoughtful and supportive manner, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and secure as they transition into their new school environment. The Student Buddy Program, facilitated by their own classmates, helps new students adapt and feel a sense of belonging at Beacon, familiarizing themselves with new spaces and rules and building social connections.

Beacon offers all three IB programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Early Childhood and Elementary School, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Middle School, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for High School students. Due to the subject choices made by students in the Diploma Programme for High School, we only accept admission requests for Year 10.

It is not our expectation for children in Early Childhood Education (up to 6 years old) to have fluency in English, as this skill will be developed through the immersion program. However, starting from 1st grade of Elementary School (Y1), the candidate undergoes a process to assess proficiency in the language. After careful and thorough analysis of each case, the student may be referred to the English Support Program (ESP). In certain cases, candidates may be admitted upon obtaining the necessary proficiency after enrollment, with the suggestion of additional English support to be able to keep up with the academic content of each grade.

Beacon does not offer tuition discounts for families with more than one child enrolled.
